I chose this Cuban personal organiser as a gift for my mom. It is so nice I even don't want to put it down! I LOVE the leatherthe and the Chilli colour, so I bought a Cuban Slimline for myself as well!
Hope it could be with me for a long time.

Fantastic organiser

I was extremely impressed by the speed and efficiency of service and the organiser itself is lovely. The colour is a really fabulous shade of red and the design is distinctive, chic with a modern twist.
At the moment the leather is still very stiff, so the organiser will not simply lie open flat on a table top, but for me this is not a great concern.
In the days of encroaching modern technology this is an elegant, functional and timeless way to stay organised (that won't crash, run out of battery or be redundant in 3 month time when the next version is released!)

Love my new Cuban Filofax!

I spent quite a lot of time checking out the different Filofaxes online before purchasing. I have an iPhone 4 too but still found myself writing lists. Besides, a Filofax doesn't need charging! My sister has had a Filofax for years (mostly Pocket Finsburys I think & uses it as a wallet too) and swears by it. She never misses a birthday despite having a busy life & 4 kids! I'm just back to work after having my third child and this was a little present to myself to cheer me up! I had lists, vouchers, stamps, coupons, bits & bobs all over the place. I only have it a couple of days and just making myself 'at home' in it but I'm loving it already. It feels solid & well made - the leather is smooth and wonderful to the touch, it's very sleek looking with nothing to complicate it. I'd say it will age well, will be interesting to see if the smooth finish gets marked much. I think the Finsbury surface finish might wear better. I'm a bit of a fiend for red, so I love the chili colour. The included items are generous & more than enough to get started with. I bought a few extra inserts like extra notepaper, a ziploc envelope - fits my iPhone 4 with bumper on it which is handy! The sticky markers are great too. Might get the fold-out year planner now too. I also got the portable hole punch - it's a bit too bulky to keep in the organiser. It's awkward at either the front or the back but I kinda planned on keeping it at home anyway. I was going to get the A5 but reckoned it wouldn't fit in my hand bag so I wouldn't carry it all the time. I was originally drawn to the Cuban Zip but they don't have it in the Personal size. After a closer look I thought the button close looked a bit more classy anyway. The button close works very easily & I have the ziploc & zip pocket to hold loose stuff, which was why I wanted the zip. Everyone has different things they require from their organizer & I'm no expert. This is my first Filofax but I'm thoroughly delighted with my choice!

I ordered the Cuban dark brown Filofax and found the customer service to be Brilliant! Quick purchase,speedy confirmation of purchase and fast delivery date. if you choose to purchase a Filofax don't go to stationary stores get it here. you'll have better choice,service and a guarantee of quality.and you will be an official "filofaxer"

I bought this in 'Personal Size' as a gift for my girlfriend getting a new job. I bought the Cuban Chilli as it was a bit more stand-out than the standard black personal organiser, but it in a very fashionable and subtle way. I got the present gift wrapped - and would also give the gift-wrapping five stars too as it came in a lovely black box with a purple ribbon - making the filofax seem somewhat more luxurious to touch.
I am yet to give her the gift, but know that when the time comes she will love it as much as I do - I would say that this is more of a female gift as there does not seem to be much, if any masculinity in the beautiful deep-chilli colouring I have chosen.
Brilliant filofax - I'd give it a million stars if I could.
PS. Delivery was prompt, bonus points.
