Fabulous Organiser but ..................

It is absolutely fabulous and very well made. I'm loving all the pockets Inside, and because I travel with my job, I liked the idea of using it as a clutch in the evenings.
However there is a fundamental problem with it which means it's actually not going to be very useful and I notice this has been mentioned already on your Site.
The ring binder is too small. I need a page a day, and bought a pack of these at John Lewis for £13.50 and took out the week to view sheets. However it is so difficult to fit this into the Filofax, I had to remove all of the other sections such as birthdays, notes, addresses, contacts etc., and all the dividers in order to fit it in, and even then it is a tight fit and the pages don't turn easily. I won't be able to insert anything else, so it's now a pretty straight forward diary. This is very disappointing, especially as the page a day is sold to fit this Filofax, so it should fit without losing everything else. In total this has cost £58.50 which doesn't represent very good value for what is now in effect a basic diary without all the add ins. I could have purchased a lovely clutch bag and an ordinary page a day diary instead. It's just no good for the daily view inserts so I have no idea why you sell them to fit this Filofax. There was nothing on the packaging to say not suitable for the Ikat.

Took a chance and got one - delighted! Love the invisible zip and the removable rings section. My only worry is what I will do when it starts to get grubby (as it will)! Want to use it as everyday organiser. Would have loved an extra pen loop (for pencil).

Love my pink Temperley Ikat Personal Organiser! I do wish it came with more inserts (to do pages, blank pages) but I went online and ordered several different options in the personal size so I can have variety. I love that it fits my iPhone and is perfect for quick trips to the store or evenings out when I don't want to carry a big bulky purse.

Amazing but some reservations

I got this as a present for my birthday and its super cute. It fits my iPhone 5 in with all my money cards etc and its not too bulky. It has a great range of dividers but not enough to do or notepad paper. The only reservations I have are that I can't find any compact refills they're not on the site anywhere or common stationary shops so I'm a bit worried that this may only last a year :( huge disappointment if true unless you can get other sizes that are compatible??? If someone could let me know that would be great as I never want to part from it!! x

Disappointing

I bought this filofax from John Lewis in Cambridge yesterday, and was really excited to find something so attractive. As my first ever Filofax I had visions of being super organised, and was really pleased with the overall style and finish of this organiser. It came with a week-to-a-page diary which I changed for a 2-days to a page one as I need a bit more space, but as soon as I put the new one in I realised that this Filofax is designed to hold very little paper. Even after removing ALL the extra unnecessary inserts, including the address index, this feels like a squeeze. And if I try to put my smart phone in the so-called 'smart phone pocket' it won't even zip up. This is an attractive organiser, but not a practical one :(

Thank you for your comments, we are sorry to hear that you are not happy with your purchase. The Ikat has been designed and tested to fit the vast majority of Smartphones and we are disappointed to hear yours did not fit.
The ring mechanism in the Ikat is Compact size. As you have noted the rings are a lot smaller than our other ranges, hence why the product comes with the Week-to-a-page diary – anything bulkier will not fit the rings together with an added Smartphone wouldn’t allow the Ikat to close.
However we have passed on your feedback to our design team to consider for future designs.
