I have had the Lyndhurst for 4 years now and use on a daily basis (week days) for work. I used to use the diaries until i got my ipad and use that for diary function now.
I use the Lyndhurst to carry an A4 notepad, data-sheets and a full price list in clear wallets and it works a dream. The quality is excellent with no signs of wear and tear. I can also carry my ipad (with cover) in the Lyndhurst zipped up for added security.
The Lyndhurst is an investment as it looks professional and will probably outlast me.

Perfect for work

I already use an A5 filofax for everyday use but wanted something A4 size for work. It needed to be zipped for security, containing a diary, tabbed sections for all my clients and able to include A4 paperwork that can be hole punched and put in. This is absolutely ideal. In addition to its practicality, it is smart and classic, and exudes understated quality. It would have been nice to have a choice of colour, as I probably wouldn't have chosen black as first choice, but that is a small gripe. However, I have only given 4* rather than 5 as I think it is expensive at £130.

Impressive

Bought this in 2010. It just exudes quality and luxury. When I walk into a meeting with this under my arm they all look. My wife borrowed it for her portfolio when she went for an interview for a new job, needless to say she got the job. The Lyndhurst impresses everyone!

I've had the predecessor to the Lyndhurst for over 15 years and use it on a daily basis. Despite being a tech-head at heart I'm loathe to switch to purely electronic diary systems as I prefer scribbling.
The best thing about this beast is that the paper (A4) is the same size as what computer printers spew out so when driving anywhere to see customers I'll print out directions / map, pop it in the organiser and it's big enough to navigate from if I sit it open on the passenger seat.
Same goes for e-tickets, car hire documents etc. Datasheets are always A4 size so they slip nicely into the pockets.
Plus it gets lighter as the year goes on if you take the past months out !
Mine is looking nicely worn, like a comfy pair of shoes, which screams experience to my customers. Wouldn't be without it.

8 years of abuse and still going strong

Had this bought for me as a leaving present over 8 years ago. Zip and ring mechanism still working perfect. Have had 2 years of diaries in it, so it has plenty of spare capacity and also ideal for A4 paper storage at front or rear, bound or unbound without the need to fold into smaller sizes to fit. If considering buying, remember this can be a beast in terms of size and weight and would suggest that carrying to meetings might be tiresome. However, A4 is perfect for recording all the days/weeks events. Given the length of time and the amount of abuse this has had to put up with, it has proved very robust. Simply need a smaller size to carry around more freely.
