About Us
Environmental Policy
The Filofax Group is an environmentally responsible organisation.
Our objective is to minimise any environmental impact through an effective and progressive Environmental Policy covering all areas of our business:
- the design and manufacture of our products
- the working conditions in our suppliers’ factories
The Chief Executive has overall responsibility for ensuring that this Environmental Policy is implemented.
Our Suppliers
Filofax works with reputable suppliers, and constantly ensures that our products are produced under acceptable working conditions. All suppliers must comply with local labour laws and regulations.
Regular inspections ensure that suppliers maintain a safe and hygienic working environment, and are effectively implementing employment, health and safety and environmental activities.

Paper – all of our paper is sourced from mills that obtain pulp from well managed sources.
Filofax Group Limited is an FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified company. We are currently
introducing FSC certified products across our range, with plans for all paper products being FSC
certified by 2012.

Packaging - most of our packaging can be recycled, and Filofax continually
reviews the design of its packaging to minimise any environmental impact.
Our distribution warehouse complies with all current legislation regarding the
recycling of packaging waste.
Leather – all leathers used in Filofax products are a by-product of the food industry. We
do not use hides from animals that have been bred specifically for leather production.
Chemicals – no restricted chemicals are used in the manufacture of Filofax products.
